Montana Women's Business Center

Montana is an incredibly entrepreneurial state where small businesses thrive. According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, about one quarter of all Montana businesses are owned by women.

To us at Prospera Business Network, this represents an opportunity to develop a wealth of potential.  Prospera is proud to host the Montana Women's Business Center, our state's only program whose focus is to help start, grow, and sustain women-owned businesses. It is one of more than 100 Women's Business Centers across the nation, working to deliver counseling, training, mentoring, and networking services to women entrepreneurs.

Women are our focus, but we will help anyone who needs it. We are able to provide these services free of charge because of a matching grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the financial generosity of our members and donors.

Schedule a Business Counseling Session
Whether you are in start-up or growth phase, we have the staff and organizational knowledge to guide you through the challenges that inherently come with owning a small business. Counselors are available in Bozeman and Hamilton and can assist remotely via phone and email counseling.
*Due to the high demand for business counseling services, the MWBC requires individuals looking into starting a brand new business or business owners who have been "in business" less than six months, to complete the new Power Up business course prior to scheduling a one-on-one counseling appointment with our Bozeman office. However, this requirement does not apply to those seeking assistance at the MWBC sub-center in Hamilton.

Get the Facts
The research behind our program is overwhelming, but it is only part of the story. What we are helping women do about it is even more inspiring.

Make a Gift
We depend on your generosity to deliver programs at no charge to clients, and we do an excellent job leveraging your contributions.
